Capture your part
Keep the part still. Walk your phone around it, one small step between photos. Your last photo appears beside the live view.
1 / Walk around the part
Take a circle of photos at one height, then repeat from slightly above. Keep the part and measured marker still; move only the phone. Keep most of the last view in each new shot.
Next suggested view
The file-input camera cannot show a live overlay. Use “Open camera” above for guided alignment. A batch gets the next suggested view on its first photo; tag the rest yourself.
Live alignment needs a supported browser, HTTPS and camera permission.
Take a first photo, then move one small step around the part.
Inspect the edge and landmarks. This photo is not saved until you confirm.

Review your photos
Open each preview. If edges are soft, glare hides the contact surface, or two photos show the same angle, retake from a clearer or different angle. These are your visual checks; blur, glare and overlap are not measured by this tool. HEIC previews may depend on browser support; originals are retained.
2 / Physical scale
Use calipers to name two endpoints on a rigid reference visible in multiple views. Enter distances in millimeters, not the overall shower-head envelope. Record measurement uncertainty (± mm). A second scale pair helps reveal mismatch.
3 / Independent holdouts
Measure different named endpoints on the object. Do not reuse the scale pair. These are withheld checks for a future reconstruction; entering them now does not calculate a 3D error.
4 / Contact intent
5 / Evidence & handoff
Coverage is self-reported, not computer-verified. No scale residual, holdout residual, mesh, or global tolerance can be reported before a calibrated reconstruction and check-point correspondence. Hidden surfaces remain unresolved.
